ABSTRACT

Objective:To analyze the results of the free breast cancer screening project for rural women in Qinba area, and to investigate intervention measures for the improvement of screening rate. Methods:The data of 5 974 rural women aged 35 to 64 years old with breast cancer in Qinba area during two cancer screening in 3201 Hospital Affiliated to Xi'an Jiaotong University College of Medicine and Nanjiang County Women and Children Hospital between August 2021 and March 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. The characteristics of the screened population, the results of breast ultrasonography, mammography and pathological examination were statistically analyzed. The differences in the positive rates of breast ultrasonography and breast ultrasonography supplemented with mammography in the clinical screening of breast cancer among different age groups were compared. Results:The highest participation rate was found in those aged 45 to 49 years old, accounting for 29.56% (1 766/5 974); the lowest participation rate was those aged 60 to 64 years old, accounting for 3.65% (218/5 974). According to breast ultrasonography screening, 976 (16.34%) cases were suspected positive, 282 (4.72%) cases were positive; 84 (1.41%) were screened for mammography, 18 (21.43%) cases were suspected positive and 6 (7.14%) cases were positive; and the detection rate of breast cancer was 66.96/ 100 000 (4/5 974). There were statistically significant differences in the positive rate of clinical breast cancer screening by breast ultrasonography and breast ultrasonography supplemented with mammography among different age groups (all P < 0.05). Conclusions:Breast cancer screening in Qinba area has achieved some good results. The screening mode of physical examination combined with breast ultrasound supplemented with mammography is suitable for this area, but the compliance of the population is poor. The scientific awareness of breast cancer in rural women should be improved.

ABSTRACT

Objective@#To investigate eating behavior and associated family factors of preschool children during the prevalence of Corona Virus Disease(COVID-19), and to provide scientific basis for healthy eating behavior for preschool children.@*Methods@#A total of 1 829 preschool children were investigated by electronic questionnaire from 5 kindergartens in Shenzhen from March 18-20, 2020. SPSS 19.0 was used to perform logistic regression analysis on the factors for eating behavior.@*Results@#The rate of unhealthy eating behavior during the prevalence of COVID-19 was 47.2%. The rate of unhealthy eating behaviors in boys and girls were 46.1% and 48.4%, respectively. And there was no significant difference between different genders(χ 2=1.02,P=0.31). The rate of unhealthy eating behaviors of preschool children aged 3-, 4-, 5- and 6- were 56.6%, 56.8%, 42.3% and 29.9%, respectively, and the differences between different ages were significant(χ 2=72.17,P<0.01). Logistic regression analysis showed that fathers high education level, mothers education level(OR=0.78,0.77,0.21), and parents satisfaction with children s eating were associated with low nutritional problems of child, while parental permission to play while eating, criticize while eating, force child to eat more and force child to eat foods they do not like, and parental concerns about children s appetite, were associated with more unhealthy eating behavior(OR=6.29,1.80,2.20,1.70,2.16)(P<0.05).@*Conclusion@#The prevalence of unhealthy eating behaviors of preschool children during the prevalence of COVID-19 is lower than usual, but the health education of preschool children s families still needs to be strengthened.

ABSTRACT

Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) is the second prevalent primary liver cancer, next to hepatocellular carcinoma. Epidemiologic studies suggest the morbidity of ICC is on the rise worldwide. Owing to the complex etiology, lack of effective screening methods, the concealment of early clinical symptoms and the limited treatment strategy, it is tough to diagnose to ICC and difficult for further treatment. In recent years, with the development of medical technology and the progress of medical treatment idea, active explorations have been made on the early diagnosis and treatment strategies of ICC. The aim of this narrative review is to summarize the research status relating to diagnostic methods and treatment strategies.

ABSTRACT

Hepatic cellular carcinoma is the third most common cause of cancer deaths in China.Partial hepatectomy is still the most effective treatment for hepatic cellular carcinoma. The liver is an organ with strong regenerative ability, and its regenerative mechanism is very complex.Majority of patients with hepatic cellular carcinoma are accompanied by cirrhosis, and cirrhosis is an important factor affecting the regeneration of the remaining liver after surgery.Liver regeneration is obviously impaired under this condition. However, the anti-liver fibrosis mechanisms behind these processes have not been completely elucidated, the current treatment of fibrosis is merely supportive care, and thus further definition of the antiliver fibrosis related factors such as keratinocyte growth factor, hepatocyte growth factor, milk fat globule epidermal growth factor 8,collagen-binding vascular endothelial growth factor,ex vivo expansion of circulating CD34+ cells has far-reaching significance for improving their prognosis. This article mainly introduces some relevant factors associated with anti liver fibrosis, for later use of single factor or a combination of multifarious factors to resist liver fibrosis,to provide reference for improving the ability of remained liver regeneration after partial hepatectomy.

ABSTRACT

Computer tomography scanning was performed in 16 patients with mandibular angle hypertrophy before and after surgery. The imaging data of patients were recorded in three-dimensional reconstruction software (Mimics 10.0), and found the most appropriate surgery plan through simulating different surgical procedures. The geometry character indexes of the face were compared between before and after surgery, and then the results were analyzed. We got intuitive, accurate three-dimensional reconstruction graphs, simulation of surgery procedures, and calculation of difference in the geometry character index of face in all cases. The bone width of mandibular angle shortened (7.69?.89) mm; the soft tissue width of mandibular angle shortened (5.13?.19) mm; the both gonial angle increased (5.68?.43)?and (5.91?.66)? respectively. Applied to actual surgery procedure, the operation time shortened and precision of operation was improved. Results demonstrated that Computer three-dimensional reconstruction and computer simulation techniques is beneficial to reveal the variational regularity of bone and soft tissue, which is a good aided method in stimulation of surgery and choice of surgery plan.
